50,000 cow fattening tablets recovered in Meherpur

The members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive recovered 50,000 cow fattening tablets from Buripota frontier area of the district on Sunday.
Acting on a tip off, a team of BGB conducted the drive near the pillar No-116 of the Buripota frontier and recovered the cow fattening tablets in an abandoned condition.
Nazrul Islam, the Buripota Border Outpost (BOP) camp commander, said the smugglers fled the scene sensing the presence of the BGB in the area leaving 50,000 cow fattening tablets near the pillar.
