The 36th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination will be held tomorrow (Jan 8, Friday). The two-hour exam will start at 9:30am.
Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has already published the seat plans and instructions which will be available on the BPSC website at www.bpsc.gov.bd.
BPSC this time bans use of wrist watch inside job exam halls. Earlier, the commission imposed ban on the use of calculators and other electronic devices during BCS preliminary and written tests.
PSC on 31 December 2015 issued a notice asking job seers not to take any type of watch, electronic device, bag and book inside exam halls.
According to the notice, any act of entering the examination halls with mobiles, watches, electronic devices, calculators, books and bags during the 36th BCS preliminary tests on January 8 will be considered punishable act.
The test will be held simultaneously in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Barisal, Khulna, Sylhet and Rangpur centres, says the notice.
If anyone is found along with the above mentioned objects, his/her candidacy will be cancelled and the objects will be confiscated. Even, he/she may be barred from taking any PSC examination in future.
The notice also said that wall clocks would be arranged at exam halls for all to check time.
