Khulna int'l trade fair begins March 6

The month-long 15th Khulna International trade Fair-2016(KITF) will begin at Khulna Circuit House Ground on March 6.
Khulna Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) is organizing the fair with the aim to promote country- made products and provide opportunities to foreign companies to market their brands and latest products.
Economic Adviser to the Prime Minister Dr. Moshiur Rahman is expected to inaugurate the fair while State minister for Fisheries and Live Stock Naryan Chandra, lawmakers Monnuzan Sufian, Talukder Abdul Khaleque, S M Mostofa Rashidi Suza, Mizanur Rahman Mizan, Khulna divisional commissioner Abdus Samad, Khulna Metropolitan Commissioner(KMP) Nibash Chandra Majhi, Khulna Range DIG of Police S M Moniruzzaman, Khulna deputy commissioner Nazmul Ahsan and Administrator of Khulna District council Sheikh Harun-ur Rashid will attend as special guests.
Talking to BSS, KCCI President Kazi Aminul Haque today said Elin Traders, a contractor, has been given charge to run the KITF as they qualified through tender called by KCCI.
All preparations for holding the KITF have been completed today, he said, adding that at least 151 stalls and three pavilions have been set up by the companies from home and abroad.
Traders and entrepreneurs across the country will place their products before the international business community in the KITF, he added.
