Land development taxes worth around Taka 40.5 crore was realized in Rajshahi division during the last 2014-15 fiscal year against its claimed around Taka 39 crore.
Besides, the division realized around Taka 7.13 crore as revenue from different public institutions and Taka 2.33 crore as lease money from vested property. Apart from, more than 526.54 acres of khash land were given allocation among 3,195 landless families for farming activities in the division.
There were revealed in a daylong annual Rajshahi Divisional Revenue Conference held at Circuit House yesterday with Helaluddin Ahmed, Commissioner of the division, in the chair.

Additional Commissioner (General) Munir Hossain also spoke. Deputy Commissioner, Divisional Land Reform Commissioner, additional deputy commissioners (revenue), revenue deputy collectors and assistant commissioners (land) from all eight districts in the division were present at the conference.
