The New Zealand Aid Programme announced its latest round of Commonwealth Scholarships for Bangladeshi nationals wishing to pursue Masters and PhD programmes in New Zealand in 2016.
New Zealand’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Grahame Morton said in a press release: “Being one of the first countries to recognise Bangladesh, New Zealand has a strong commitment to its growth and prosperity. Scholarships to attend New Zealand universities play an important role in achieving this.”
The scholarships are available for Masters (1-2 years) and PhD (3-4 years) programmes.
They are valid for a range of subjects around the themes of renewable energy, agriculture development, disaster risk management, education and the strengthening of public and private sectors.
Students need to have an admission offer and send in their applications on or before July 31, 2015.
